Your Native Lands team is grateful to be collaborating with KU Environmental Studies Master's student, Emily Elder, to gather feedback from the community on how giving time to the land impacts your life. We'd love to hear from as many of you as possible because your experience means the world to us. 🌍 We can't thank you all enough for the time and effort you contribute to protecting healthy landscapes for our communities. Thank you ♡
From Emily Elder:
Dear Volunteers,
I am a master's student in the Environmental Studies program at the University of Kansas, conducting research in partnership with Native Lands to explore how community-based land stewardship impacts both ecological restoration and our sense of place. Having grown up in and around Lawrence, I feel deeply connected to Native Lands’ mission. When choosing a project for my Master’s Capstone, I knew I wanted to collaborate with a local organization making a meaningful impact in our community.
Your participation in this survey will help us better understand how engaging in restoration activities influences environmental awareness, community connections, and personal well-being. The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and is anonymous unless you choose to share your name. Your insights are invaluable in shaping future restoration efforts and strengthening community engagement.
This survey will be closed April 12, 2025 - please feel free to share with other volunteers from our community. Thank you for your time and support!
